​This is one of the most important position at Alpha B Group. This position involves high client interfacing, extensive tax knowledge, management experience, and interpersonal skills.

EXPERIENCE

• 10 years consistent tax seasons with face to face client interaction
  
• ​5 years management of 3+ people

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

• Active Enrolled Agent license (maintained a minimum of 8 years) or​
• Active CA CPA license (maintained a minimum 8 years)

SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

• Lacerte Tax 
  
• Intermediate Excel (calculations, Vlookup, pivot tables) 
  
• Google: search, Docs, Sheets​
  
• ​Karbon

KNOWLEDGE

• Knows how to read W2s, 1099s, and other tax related forms​
  
• Knows how to read tax returns - Form 1040, Schedule A, B, C, D, E
• Knows where complex tax forms belong on the tax return - margin interest, foreign tax credit, backdoor Roth IRA conversion, AMT, AMT credit
• Knows details of Schedule C & E including aspects of depreciation, home office, mileage, hiring dependents, etc.  ​
• In depth knowledge of company stock options, ESPP, and RSUs​
• In depth knowledge of business entities - C-corp, S-corp, LLC, Partnerships
