Junior Bookkeeper

The junior bookkeeper's role is to support the senior bookkeeper.  It is an integral role because it helps ensure everything goes smoothly and more quickly in the entire bookkeeping process.

EXPERIENCE

• 1 year of accounting experience

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

• Accounting related degree or working toward one is preferable, but not required

SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

• Quickbooks
• Google Docs

KNOWLEDGE

• Has basic understanding of balance sheet and profit and loss​ accounts
• Understands debits and credits

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

• Can follow instructions​
• Comfortable with asking questions​
• Eager to grow​

ACCOUNTABILITY

• ​Helps support senior bookkeepers with data entry and bank reconciliations
• Help gather and organize client data
  
• Support senior with administrative tasks​
